Prominently sited on one of Halstead's main streets, The Locomotive is a fine old pub with abundant
character and wide appeal. Mugs and tankards hang from beams in the dining area, and the bar is filled with brasses, period
prints and photographs and a wealth of little secrets to discover. Mic and Mo have won many friends since taking over in 1993,
and the bar is open all day for drinks.
Boddingtons is just one of the locals' favourites.
